Aesthetics in a Medical Office with Laser Certification
Because of the growing demand for aesthetic perfection, plastic surgeons, dermatologists and reconstructive surgeons are adding skincare services to their practice. They have established that an aesthetician can increase patient satisfaction with skills that compliment their services.

After completion of the required 600-Hour Aesthetics program, the student continues to study a laser course to become a certified laser technician. The Laser Technician Program will cover the following:
- Introduction to Lymphatic Drainage
- Non-surgical procedures
- Pre and post operative skincare
- Suture techniques
- Surgical wound care
- Burn wound care
- Laser physics and tissue interaction
- Laser tissue interaction and treatment precautions
- Laser safety and regulations
- Client care
- Clinical laser application (hands-on)
- 24 hours of observation
- 10 practical treatments performed by student for each laser modality
- Professional development
